On Sunday 8 March, on the occasion of the 51st International Women's Day , all visitors will be able to access the Civic Museums section of Palazzo Farnese for a fee of 1 euro.

For the occasion, a program of initiatives dedicated to the valorization of the female figure through history, art, and culture has been organized.

"Cleopatra's Perfumes"
A guided tour is planned, showcasing a rich selection of artifacts related to personal care and beauty in the ancient world. The tour will be accompanied by a guided olfactory recognition workshop, with participants having the opportunity to make their own scented ointment following ancient recipes inspired by tradition.

"Saints, Queens, Women. Female Figures from the Palazzo Farnese Collections"
To mark this international anniversary, a special guided tour is also offered, dedicated to the female figures present in the Palazzo Farnese collections: saints, sovereigns, and protagonists of history, told through works and artistic testimonies.
